The Honor of a Prince

Chapter 1

“Mom…..I want to play outside now!!!” said Victor. Victor had been waiting for hours for his dad to come home from the village because his mom, Queen Ariana, said that he had to wait for his dad to come to play outside. Finally, when his dad came home, he begged his dad to go outside. His dad, King Albus, who had been outside for a while agreed and told Victor that after he plays outside, he has  to do his homework.

Victor, who was desperate  to go outside, quickly left. He soon called his sister Angela, to come outside to play croquet. But when they did, the ball fell into the woods, where a friendly wizard named Sunstone lived. Victor dashed to the woods to get the ball. But he saw that the ball had fallen deep into a bush. He went to Sunstone’s hut for help. Being a kind wizard, Sunstone decided to help. So Victor and Sunstone went to the bush. But when Sunstone looked at the bush, he gasped. “Victor!” Sunstone exclaimed,”This is one of the most dangerous plant to ever be found in a bush like this. It is called a excavator rose” “This must not be touched by anyone who is a mortal.” Victor was dumbfounded. “Why is this excavator rose so dangerous, sir?” Victor asked.

“Because anyone who is mortal will die in a week unless they are given the three ingredients of the potion that cures the disease; 1 ancient flower, 2 whiskers, and 3 strands of hair from a dark wizard.” ”What about immortals?” “Immortals don’t get affected by the excavator rose, because they can never die” replied Sunstone. Victor was alarmed about hearing the last ingredient. Three strands of hair from a dark wizard!!!!

Chapter 2

After Victor came home from school, he decided to have a chat with his dad. But when he did, Queen Ariana told him that his dad was sick, so they called in Sunstone to examine him. “Can I go see him?” Victor asked. Queen Ariana told him that he can see him. When Victor arrived, he saw that Sunstone and Angela were already there. “What happened to Dad?” asked Victor.

I’m afraid that your dad has caught the disease that I told you about yesterday” Sunstone replied. Victor froze on hearing what Sunstone said. “What!” Victor exclaimed, “but..but..How!” Angela said “Someone poisoned his tea with the excavator rose.” Victor wondered who would do that. He was sure that all the servants were trustworthy. And he knew his mom, Angela, or Sunstone never would have done that, so who?

Chapter 3

“What should I do?” asked Victor. Sunstone said that he had to go and get the ingredients. 1 ancient flower, 2 whiskers, and 3 strands of hair from a dark wizard. Victor wondered how he would get the the three strands of hair needed for the potion. Sunstone said that he needed to journey through the land of Avania. . Victor said first, he will get the ancient flower and 2 whiskers. Sunstone said that there are some things that they need to beware. They should not pass through the graveyard of souls.

Victor and Angela followed the map. Victor spotted a bunny for Angela. So he told her to get the whiskers. She very slowly approached the bunny, and took the the whiskers.¨Got it!¨ said Angela. Victor was happy Angela managed to get the whiskers without hurting the bunny.¨¨Let’s go get the ancient flower now” said Victor. “But how are we going to find the ancient flower?” asked Angela.

Chapter 4

“Sunstone gave me a map before we left.” replied Victor. “Okay” said Angela. So Victor and Angela followed the map. After an hour, Angela and Victor found an odd looking plant that was surrounded by 5 killer bees. “Is this the ancient flower?” Angela asked. “Yeah, I’m pretty sure cause it does smell like honey and there are tiny bees around it like Sunstone said! ” Victor replied

sarcastically. Before they grabbed the flower they needed to get through the bees. Victor pulled out a magical sword with the power to freeze or burn at Victors will. The powers of the sword was granted by Sunstone and could only be held by Victor, while Angela pulled out her bow, and grabbed a flaming arrow from her magical quiver. They used their fighting skills to fight off the killer bees  When they were finished with the bees they grabbed the flower off the ground and journeyed home.

    Chapter 5

“Sunstone!” Victor yelled, “We got the the first two ingredients!” “Well done you two.” Sunstone calmly replied. “Why are you so calm, Sunstone?” Angela asked, “Dad is in danger!” “I know, Angela. I have found out that your father will not die soon, but in a month” Sunstone replied. “But some extra news, I have also found a dark wizard.” “What’s his name?” asked Angela. “Blackdom” replied Sunstone. Victor wondered how strong this so-called dark wizard would be. “Will it be easy to get hair from Blackdom?” asked Victor.

“No” replied Sunstone. “Unless you can stop C.A.D.N.” “What’s C.A.D.N” asked Angela. “Countless Army of Devastating Nightmares” Sunstone replied. “Full of cyclops, werewolves, and goblins.” “My old nemesis things up some good stuff when it comes to servants” Sunstone said. Victor was amazed. The great wizard, Sunstone, was scared and admiring this particular dark wizard, who seemed to be very strong. This might be  a challenge after all.

Chapter 6

“So where do you find Blackdom?” Angela asked. “In the other side of Avania, where he lives in his castle the Tower of Terror.” Sunstone answered. “Nearby, he has a cave where he keeps his prisoners. Once, his grandmother, Morgana, had trapped my grandfather Merlin in there.” 

“Your grandfather was the great Merlin” Victor said in amazement. “Why yes” replied Sunstone. Victor could not believe that Sunstone’s grandfather was the amazing wizard Merlin. Victor decided to leave now so they could cure their dad as soon as possible. Sunstone said that he will come with them on the long journey to the other side of Avania where the evil wizards tower is located.

Chapter 7

Victor was exhausted. He had been walking for hours. But Sunstone was letting him know that he had to keep moving. “How much longer?” asked Angela drowsily. “Just about 15 more minutes” replied Sunstone. So after more walking, Victor spotted a dark castle up ahead. “Is that Blackdom’s castle?” asked Victor.

Yes” replied Sunstone, “We’re here.” All of a sudden, a goblin leaped out of nowhere. “Whoa!!” Victor yelled as he ducked. Angela quickly pulled out her bow and fired at the goblin. The goblin screamed as it burnt to ashes. Sunstone soon spotted the entrance. “This place looks different from the last time I was here” he stated. “Wait, you’ve been here before?” asked Victor. “Yes, but that is a story for another time.” Sunstone replied. “Quick, there’s the door. ” So Angela, Victor, and Sunstone all slowly walked towards the castle door.

Chapter 8

It was a huge black door on the front of the castle. They entered the castle and immediately  found a lot of human bones. “Well looks like this guy loves to kill people during his leisure” said Angela.” Pleasant” replied Victor. They went further into the castle where a guard popped up. “You will be reported to Lord Blackdom” said the guard. The guard pulled out his sword and walked them through the castle. They stopped at a place with a huge door. The guard opened it and they saw a long table and at the end there was an ugly looking person sitting on a grand looking chair. “Blackdom” said Sunstone.

“Why it isn’t my old nemesis” Blackdom replied. “Why are you here?” asked Blackdom. “Oh we are only here to meet you, your highness.” Victor said “Oh well then come sit here.” Blackdom replied Victor Angela and Sunstone sat in chairs by Blackdom sides.” Well what do you want to know” asked Blackdom. “Well, our Dad, the King wants you to be our special guest.” Victor lied. “So he wants 3 strands of your hair.” “Why my hair?” Blackdom asked. “Because it’s the best looking hair in all of Avania” lied Angela. “Why thank you” replied B. “But I know about your little secret.” “What do you know?” Angela demanded. “First, let me show you something.” Blackdom replied.

Chapter 9

“What is this place?” Victor asked. “Why it’s my prison” Blackdom replied. Victor was alarmed by this. “What! You’re going to make us prisoners!” Victor yelled. “No,no” Blackdom replied. “I would rather kill you. But first, look at this.” Blackdom took a key out of his pocket and opened the door. Victor and Angela could not believe what they saw. “Mom!!” they said together. “Mom, how are you here!” Victor yelled. “What did you do” yelled Angela pointing at Blackdom. “I will tell you everything.” Blackdom replied. “Morgan, get over here please.” A woman who looked about in her thirties showed up. She was wearing a witch hat. “Morgan here is my daughter, and she was disguised as your mother. ” Blackdom said. “She poisoned your father.” Victor was so surprised. “How is that even possible?” Blackdom shook his head. “It’s quite simple” he said “Morgan followed you to the bush, took a flower, and put it in your father’s tea!” “What!” Angela yelled.

She pointed at Morgan, and said “Is this true?” “Yes.” Morgan replied. “Now, I will be princess, not you, and my father will be king!”. “Wait” Sunstone said. “The plant cannot be touched by any mortal! How did you manage to get the plant into the king’s tea?” Morgan and Blackdom laughed. “You are a wizard, Sunstone” Blackdom said. “Do you not know anything about levitation?” Victor was so alarmed that he pulled out his sword and pointed it at Blackdom. “Give me three strands of your hair, and I’ll let you live.” Blackdom smiled. “Did Sunstone ever tell you about C.A.D.N?” Victor had forgotten all about C.A.D.N.

Chapter 10

“Uhhh..Yes” Victor replied. “Good” Blackdom said. “If you want my hair, you have to come and get it.” Blackdom immediately put his hands up in the air. “Did you just surrender?” Angela asked. “No, I would never do that.” Blackdom replied. “I just simply summoned my army.” “OH.MY.GOD!!!” Victor and Angela yelled. Goblins, Dragons, and wolves were everywhere. Victor was sure he saw a giant cyclops too. Just then, the royal army appeared behind them. “Where on earth did all of you guys come from?” yelled Victor. “Sunstone summoned us.” replied the general. Angela pulled out her bow, Sunstone pulled out his wand. The army, Victor, Angela, and Sunstone prepared to fight the biggest battle of their lives.

After the battle started, it was all a blur. The only thing that Victor could hear was the screeching of bats, battle cries, wolves howling, and swords clanking. Angela and Sunstone were fighting well and destroying many of their enemies. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the guard with the keys. He ran to him, took out his sword, and destroyed him. He picked up the keys, and ran to the prison. “Mom!” Victor yelled, “Mom, where are you?”. “I’m here” said a soft voice.

Chapter 11

“Mom, I’m going to free you” Victor said. “Now, which is the right key?”. “That one” said Queen Ariana, pointing at the one in the middle. “How do you know, are you Morgan again?” Victor asked suspiciously. “No Victor, it’s me. I’ve been here for a while now, so I know.” Victor was relieved that he did not have to look for his mom again. He inserted the keys into the lock, and opened it. “You’re free” Victor said, “Do you want a horse to ride back home?”. “No Victor, I want to join the fight. Get me a sword or a bow”Queen Ariana replied. “Now.” Victor was shocked at the expression of his mother. She usually always so calm. And now, she was firing up in rage. “Are you sure, Mom?” Victor asked. “”Yes, I’m sure,” Queen Ariana shot back. Victor was still in half-shock, but got his mom a magical bow just like his sister’s. “Okay, Mom” said Victor. “Let’s do this”

“Let’s do this” Victor and Queen Ariana charged forward. Victor soon spotted Angela and Sunstone. Angela was shooting arrows rapidly at a cyclops, and Sunstone was shooting spells at a dozen goblins. Victor knew what he had to do. He had to find Blackdom. But the first thing he needed to do was find Morgan and take her hostage. He ran over to Angela, Sunstone, Queen Ariana, and the general and explained his plan to them. Victor soon spotted Morgan by the prison and charged after her. He prepared to fight. Morgan turned around and saw Victor. “I’m gonna capture you, and take you hostage” Victor said fiercely, “ Surrender” Morgan just laughed. “I think you mean take us hostage” Immediately, Morgan created copies of herself and surrounded Victor. “Oh and also, I think you should surrender” Morgan replied.

Chapter 12

Victor looked around. He was surrounded in every direction. “How are we going to find the real one?” Angela asked. “I have a spell which can tell us, but it takes some time.”Sunstone replied. “Cover me!” So Victor, Angela, Queen Ariana, and the general formed a tight formation around Sunstone. While they were holding of the Morgans, a cyclops arrived. “Sunstone, you better hurry up!” Victor yelled. “We can’t hold them off for much longer!” “I need just a little more time” Sunstone yelled back. “I haven’t done this spell in years!” So Victor signalled to the general to call a few of the troops to help. When the arrived, they started fighting too. “Sunstone, we need to find Morgan quickly!” Queen Ariana yelled.

“Are you done yet?!” “Almost, my Queen” Sunstone yelled back. Just then, the cyclops whacked Victor away. Victor clutched his arm in pain because he had landed on it. “Victor!” Angela yelled. “Are you okay?!” “Yeah, I’m fine.” Victor replied. “I’m bleeding a little bit, but I’m fine.” Then Angela shot an arrow right into the eye of the cyclops. “I got it!” Angela yelled. “Nice shot, princess!” Sunstone yelled. “I’m ready!” “Okay!” Victor yelled back. “Everyone else, clear out so Sunstone can perform his spell!” hearing Victor’s command, everyone moved out of the way. “Fire!!” Sunstone yelled. “Give me your power!” “Quick,Sunstone. Now!!!” Sunstone jumped to dodge a blast from Morgan and fired. “Everyone, close your eyes, quick!” Sunstone yelled. Victor closed his eyes, and then, he couldn’t hear anything.

Chapter 13

“Is everyone alright?!” Sunstone asked. “Yeah, we’re fine.” Angela replied. “Did we get the Morgans?” “Yes” Sunstone answered. “There she is.” Morgan was lying on the ground, defeated. “You will be coming with us.” Victor said. “Or else” “Alright, alright” Morgan said weakly as she got off the ground with her hands up. Then general commanded two of his men to bring a chariot. As they were flying to the castle, Victor was wondering how his father was doing. When the finally arrived, all the servants were crying. “What’s wrong?” Angela asked to one of the maids. “The king, he is very unwell. We don’t know if he will survive.” the maid answered tearfully. He is the best king we have ever had“ “Where is my husband?” Queen Ariana asked.

“In there,” the maid replied. She seemed to be about to start sobbing.When Victor entered the room, he spotted his dad. His dad seemed very weak. “Victor” King Arthur said weakly. “What happened?” “Dad!” Angela yelled. “Are you okay?” “Angela?” King Arthur replied. “Is that you?” “Yes, husband.” Queen Ariana replied. “I am here as well. How are you feeling?” “Not well.” King Arthur replied. “I have only got 4 days left to live. And I get weaker every passing hour.” Victor was glad that they found Morgan so they could pull out 3 strands of her hair and add it in the ingredient. Just then, the castle shook, and Victor heard a loud boom. A soldier ran inside pulling the body of someone. It was the general.

Chapter 14

“Laden!” Queen Ariana yelled. “What happened to him?” “When we were guarding the entrance, C.A.D.N came out of nowhere.” the soldier replied. “A cyclops hit the general with his club hard and he went flying onto one of the pillars.” Victor could not believe that General Laden was dead. This was the first time he heard his mom say General Laden’s first name. But he could also not believe that C.A.D.N had attacked exactly at the moment when they were about to cure his dad. It was so ironic. “Let’s go!”  Angela yelled. “We have a castle to defend” Victor smiled. He took out his sword and prepared to fight. His mom took out her bow, and Sunstone took out his wand. Every soldier took out there swords.

“You, take the Laden’s body to the cemetery.” said Queen Ariana “We will honor him after the battle” “Yes, your Highness” replied the soldier. “Your Highness, I will stay here and feed the King his medicine.” Victor was ready to go out. “Angela, let’s do this together!” Victor yelled. “You too, Sunstone and Mom. ” “Let’s go!” yelled Queen Ariana. Victor, Angela, Sunstone, Queen Ariana, and the army all ran out. “TOGETHER” Victor yelled, screaming his guts out.

Chapter 15

When Victor ran outside, he couldn’t stand up. There were giants everywhere, and werewolves were wrecking the castle garden. Goblins were attacking soldiers, and dragons were breathing fire everywhere and other soldiers couldn’t stand up. Victor knew he had to fight. Blackdom was there, floating at the top of the castle. “Victor, there you are.” He dove after Victor “Victor!”Angela screamed. “Watch out!” Victor dove away just in time and avoided the attack. “Get over here!” Blackdom yelled as he attacked again Vicor slashed his sword at Blackdom, but he missed. “Ha, Ha, Ha!” Blackdom laughed. “Is that all you’ve got?” Victor lunged at Blackdom, but he missed again. “You are pathetic!” said Blackdom. “I’ve seen my great-gramma Morgana move faster” 

Sunstone shivered at the mention of Morgana. “My great grandfather once defeated your great grandmother, and I will beat you” Sunstone yelled.Victor know that if Sustone could be brave, he could too. Suddenly, Angela went flying and hit a pillar. “Angela!”Victor yelled. “What happened to you?” “Victor…” replied Angela weakly. “Behind you..” Victor turned around. And the last thing he saw was a cyclops club coming towards his face.

Chapter 16

When Victor woke up, he found himself into a dark and smelly room. “Where am I?” He asked. “Oh good. You’re awake.” a voice said. “Whoever you are, show yourself!” Victor snapped. “Oh, you know me.” said the voice. A hooded figure stepped out of the shadows. He unrevealed his hood, and Victor was so much in shock, he fainted.

Chapter 17

When Victor woke up again, there was no one around. He wondered why his mom’s trusted soldier would betray everyone. And he thought that he was dead. He wondered if the soldier that brought General Laden to the cemetery was on Blackdom’s side as well. “I see you have woken up, Victor” said General Laden. “Why would you do something like this?” Victor asked. “My mom trusted you!” “And what a fool she was trusting me.” General Laden

He sneered. “And now, I shall be able to commence my master plan!” Victor gasped. “What is your master plan?” he asked. “Why would I tell a little shrimp like you?” General Laden replied. He laughed. Victor was wondering who would save him. He was quite in a situation. Then he remembered that Sunstone told him that if he called for his sword, it would fly to him. “Orchist, come” Victor yelled. “Yell all you want.” said General Laden. “You are trapped.” Victor was wondering where Orchist was. Suddenly, I loud boom rocked the prison. Victor took a close look at where the boom had come from, and he saw his sword, Orchist. “Orchist, yes” Victor yelled. Suddenly, a beam came and hit Orchist. “Orchist, no!” Victor yelled. “My father has arrived!” said General Laden.

Chapter 18

“Your father is Blackdom!” screamed Victor. He couldn’t believe it. His army had a trusted general, and that general was the enemy’s son! “Wait, that means, your sister is Morgan!” Victor exclaimed in realization. “Why yes…” General Laden answered.”Where is my sister!” “I don’t know!” Victor replied. “Even if I did know, there is nothing you could do to make me talk.” “Oh I don’t think so” said Blackdom.

“Revortius!” “Ahhhh!” Victor screamed. “Owwww!” Victor was so much in pain. “This must be a torture curse” he thought.  “Ahhhhhh!” Blackdom screamed. “Who was that.” A sword had come out of nowhere and hit Blackdom. “Dad!!” Victor screamed. “You’re okay!” “Indeed I am ” King Arthur replied. “Come, we must go,” “Okay, Dad.” replied Victor. “But where’s Angela?” “She is safe at the castle,” replied King Arthur. “But we must go, NOW!”
