My name is Jacob Murray and I am a water droplet. I stayed in the ocean for a very very long time. I thought I was never getting out! Until one day … the hot sun got so hot that it evaporated me! I was happy that I was getting out of the ocean. I’m going to miss the ocean sea creatures, but maybe I will meet birds in the sky when I go into the clouds!

As I get closer and closer to the clouds, I feel light-headed. I start to shiver and condense into a snowflake. I have six arms! I’m handsome! I’m shiny! And I’m falling! Gravity pulls me down. Help! I’m falling and I can’t get up! I feel cold. There are 100 million other snowflakes here on this ice wall or glacier floating in the ocean.

The sun comes back out and melts all the snowflakes around me. Hey! I’m melting, I’m melting! I’m going up up up to the clouds again. The heat energy is making me evaporate again. I’m sad that I left the glacier. I’m lonely…but there are cloud people here, in this dark cloud. I’m getting cold again…and condense into a raindrop. I’m flying fast back to the ocean! I’m precipitating! No, that’s not the ocean…it’s land! I’m landing on the beach!

It’s hot here. I see people tanning under beach umbrellas sitting on their towels. I’m falling through the sand…and into the groundwater. Now I’ve found lots of my other friends. They filtered through the sand like I did and went into a beautiful lake.

I love this lake. I am with lots of other water droplets flowing in the lake. I see fish and frogs and …. an ALLIGATOR! What will happen to me now? The alligator drinks me. How will I get out of the alligator now? Ahhhhh-choooo! The alligator sneezes and I resiprate back into the air and land on a rose.
The End
