
Fact Families come in all sorts of pairs! However, 3 is the maximum amount of numbers a fact family will get. On the next page here are some great fact families to learn about!

What is a Fact Families?
A Fact Family is a group of math facts using the same numbers.
One Group of Subtraction.
One Group of Addition.
Using both hands you can say fact family. Two pairs of subtraction and two pairs of addition.

Here are some examples of Fact Families showing the same beginning number and end number twice!
1+2=3
2+1=3
3-1=2
3-2=1
5+3=8
3+5=8
8-5=3
8-3=5
9+1=10
1+9=10
10-9=1
10-1=9
