There is nothing more important in any place

Than the smile appearing on our face

A smile that makes pain depart,

Especially if it comes straight from the heart

A smile is something that’s ours alone

It something that is ours to own

You can’t buy anything with one

And yet it’s worth gold by the ton

A smile together with a kind word, or two

Helps us when we’re feeling blue

When we’re alone, a little smile

Makes people want to stay a while

There is no smile which is in vain, 

It makes good things come back again. 

That’s why all people need to care

To love each other, and to share

And make smiles happen everywhere
