World Record:

Throughout history there have been many great football players, however the one who broke the record in the year 2012 is Lionel Messi who is the youngest Player to score 50 Goals in the Champions League.

On 3rd April 2012, Lionel Messi scored a brace against AC Milan in the second leg of the Quarter Finals of the Champions League at Nou Camp, as Barcelona won 3-1. This game was one of the most important for Messi because it opened his career to many achievements. when he started this game he already had 12 goals in that season alone. That game he scored his fiftieth goal.

At 24 years, 9 months and 10 days, Messi became the youngest player in the history of the tournament to reach that milestone.

Messi still holds his incredible achievement of being the youngest player to reach 50 goals in the tournament.

Personal Blog by Messi!

A personal blogs about his thoughts and feelings about being on the National Team after already breaking records.

Tis generation was mistreated. We don’t sell smoke we are professionals and we want to win. I want to win something with the Argentina National Team. I will play in all the important things. A lot of people old me I won’t come back, Family, Friends… my son asked me “Why do they kill you in Argentina?”

realistically there is a lot of work to be down to be a power house. These kids have had very little matches with the Argentina team. You have to be patient and I have no doubt that we will be strong. The kids have to jump and play up and play with the National Team.

I don’t like to talk a lot I like to play…..
