Irena Sandler was one or the Righteous Among the Nations. Irena was born on Frebuary 15, 1910 and deid on may 12, 2008.

Irena was opposed during World War II, from October 1943 she was the head of the children’s section of the wagon.In addition, Sandler participated in the smuggling of Jewish children from the warsaw ghetto and provided them with ID cards and asylum in prepared Polish families or orphanages.

Irena Sandler was arrested by the Gasapo,but managed to hide the list of names and locations of Jewish children rescued.

Also, Sandler won the Golden Cross Award in 1946 for saving Jews.

In conclusion, Irena sandler was an important woman who made a great contribution to the Jewish people and is an admirable figure.
