It was a very dark and snowy night. I was six and my brother was nine. Me and my brother decided to play in the snow. We Put on our snow suits and rushed outside before it got too late.

Me and my brother Anthony were trying to see who would run the fastest in our snow suits. It was really hard especially in the snow so we decided to try it out. I was running super fast. I tripped I fell and landed on something rock hard. We didn’t know what it was because the snow was covering all of it. “OUCH!” I cried.

“Whoa what happened.” My brother said. “I don’t know” I replied. We got brooms from inside and started to brush off all of the perfectly white snow to see what it was. We were very excited. After about a good 40 minutes, we found that the whole driveway was covered with Ice. Top to bottom. We couldn’t help but stare at the ice and think about how awesome it would be to play hockey on. We rushed inside to ask if we can play hockey on the ice. our parents said yes so we rushed to go get your ice skates and change into a coat, hockey gloves, And sweatpants.

We fetched out a Hockey net and a Hockey puck with our sticks. We made up our own team names. I remember this like it was yesterday. My brother was the Biscuits and I was the Clouds. We were playing all night and we were keeping track of the score. It was very hard to play because the ice was very bumpy.

I finally had the puck all to myself. I went toward the net, The stick securely in my hands and the puck right at my feet. “YES” I whispered as I thought I was going to make it in. But no. I missed the net by about two inches. It went off the post. I got very angry. I was devastated. It was going to be my first perfect hockey goal but I messed it up. “HAHAHA” my brother cried out loud when I missed. I got to mad and angry I and I lost a little control of my temper and dropped my stick and started to throw punches at my brother. He ran inside yelling “MOM!! ALYSSA’S ATTACKING ME!” I got really scared and ran inside with him and started to cry out loud saying “NO I DIDN’T.” My mom made me and my brother sit on the couch with no tv or toys.

Out of nowhere I hear my brother says, “That miss was hilarious.” I got so angry . I tried not to lose my temper. But, There happened to be a fork on the table. I took the fork, “I got into a lot of trouble for this,” I saw my brothers face beginning to feel uncomfortable. I slowly lifted it up into the air, I wasn’t thinking that hurting people is bad and I will get into a lot of trouble for doing this, but I brought the fork down to my brothers leg.

“OOPS!” I thought My brother yelled and screamed for mom saying that he thinks I need to see a doctor. My parents came rushing over to see if my brother was ok. There was no blood. There was just a little scratch. So I wondered why I was getting in trouble.

My parents told me it wasn’t ok for me to hurt people and that I can’t get mad over little sports. My parents really taught me a lesson.
