Recipe for: Vegetable Soup

Ingredients:

  • 2 onions
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 zucchini
  • 2 liters water
  • tomato sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves

Instructions:

  • Wash and peel the vegetables.
  • Fry onions until soft and add garlic.
  • Cut the vegetables into cubes.
  • Add tomato sauce and ½ cup of water.
  • Add all the vegetables into the pot.
  • Add two cups of water.
  • Add salt and pepper.
  • Cook the soup for three hours.

Recipe for: Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 kilogram of flour
  • 130 grams of sugar
  • 15 grams of dried yeast
  • 10 grams of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 600 milliliters of water
  • 40 grams of olive oil
  • Water and seeds for coating

Equipment:

  • Mixer
  • Cup
  • Spoon

Instructions:

  • Put the flour, dried yeast, and sugar in the mixer and mix.

During mixing add water, egg and olive oil.

  • Mix for 10 minutes. 3 minutes before the end and add the salt.
  • Let the dough sit for two hours
  • Warm the oven to 250 degrees
  • Divide the dough into 15 balls and shape the rolls.
  • Brush each roll with water and sesame seeds.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Recipe for Tilapia Fish:

Ingredients:

1 piece of tilapia fish

1 teaspoon mustard

1 teaspoon fish spice

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

Half of a lemon

 

Instructions:

Thaw the fish.

Turn on the oven to 230 degrees.

Squeeze the half lemon on the fish.

Mix the mustard, fish spice and the mayonnaise in a bowl.

Smear the mixture on the fish.

Put the fish in the baking dish.

Put into the oven for 13 minutes.

Potato kugel by Ido Ribner

 

6 medium to large potatoes

6 eggs

1/2 cup vegetable oil +enough to grease the pot

2 teaspoons salt

1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper

Matzo meal

 

Preheat oven to 180c.

Pour enough oil on the bottom of a 3 to 5 quart casserole or Dutch oven to completely cover it with a layer of at least 1/4 inch of oil.

Place the pot in the oven to heat while preparing the rest of the kugel.

Peel each potato and place it in a bowl of water until you grate it as this prevents it from turning brown, and you don’t want a brown kugel!

Beat eggs in another bowl with a fork.

Place your hand grater over this bowl and grate the potatoes , watching your fingers and nails all the while so as not to add unwanted ingredients.

Pour in 1/2 cup of oil and add salt and pepper.

Mix gently and thoroughly in order to incorporate the oil and seasonings into the eggs and potatoes.

Carefully remove the pot from the oven, sprinkle matzo meal to lightly cover the bottom of the pot and gingerly ladle in the potato mixture.

Sprinkle the top of the kugel with just enough matzo meal to cover it. Return the pot to the oven for a 2 1/2 hour bake.

Recipe for Pancakes

 

Ingredients:

1 cup of flour

2 tablespoons of sugar

A little bit salt

2 tablespoons of oil

1 cup of milk

2 teaspoons of baking powder

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 egg

 

 

Equipment:

Measuring cup

Tablespoons

Spoons

Bowl

Pan

Spatula

Ladle

 

 

Instructions:

Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.

Add milk, egg, oil, and mix well.

Heat the pan until it is very hot and put in 1 ladle of mixture. Cook your pancakes 1 minute on each side.

Ingredients:

 

200 gr  butter/ margarine

200 gr  dark chocolate

1½ cups white sugar

4 eggs

1  cup of flour

½ teaspoon salt

 

Directions

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.

Melt the butter with the chocolate.

Combine the rest of the ingredients with the butter and the chocolate.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center. comes out with crumbs, not wet.

Cool and cut.

Recipe for: Schnitzel.

Ingredients:

oil

thinly sliced chicken breast

1 cup of bread crumbs

two eggs

teaspoon salt

 

Instructions:

1) Break the eggs. Pour into the plate and mix them.

2) Pour the crumbs onto another plate.

3) Pour the oil into the pan.

4) Dip the chicken in the egg on both sides.

5) Put the chicken in the breadcrumbs and coat on both sides.

6) Put the chicken in the pan.

7) Wait until the schnitzel is brown and turn off.

8) When both sides are brown take out and put it on a plate.

9) Enjoy.

Meatballs:

Ingredients:

1 can tomato paste

1 egg

1/2 cup of oil

1/2 cup of water

1/2 cup of breadcrumbs

1 tomato

1 onion                                                                              1 kg chop meat

 

Instructions:

Cut the tomato and the onion. Mix the chop meat with 1 egg, breadcrumbs and oil.

Fry the onion, tomato and the tomato paste in the pot.

When the sauce is ready make meatballs and put them in the pan.

When the meatballs are ready turn off the flame.

Recipe for:  Tahini Cake

Ingredients:

3 large eggs

3/4 cup tahini

3 teaspoons date honey

3/4 cup oil

3/4 cup orange juice

1 1/4 cups sugar

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

2 cups sifted flour

Bag of baking powder

 

Instructions:

Start with sugar, date honey and the eggs.

Beat the eggs well and add in all the wet ingredients.

Finally, add the flour and mix until uniform.

Oil two angel cake pans and pour in the mixture.

Bake in the oven 1800  for half an hour.

P l a c e  r i c e , s u g a r, milk, butter, cinnamon and zest, into a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan.

Cook over very low heat, stirring (mix) frequently, but do not let boil, for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until creamy, thick and rice is tender.

Add cinnamon stick and zest. Serve warm or at room temperature garnished with shelled pistachio halves and rose petals.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup white flour.
  • 1/2 tsp salt.
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 bag baking powder.
  • 2 eggs.
  • 100 grams of butter melted in a pan.
  • 1 1/2 cup milk.
  • Maple syrup.

How to prepare:

Mix together:

flour, salt, sugar, baking powder.

Add: butter and mix with the beater,

add milk and mix with the beater,

add eggs and mix all ingredients for 2 minutes.

Fry in a pan until brown on both sides

*serve with maple syrup

Chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients:

-1.5 cups of oats

-2 cups of flour

– 3/4 cups of sugar

-1 teaspoon baking powder

-2 eggs

-1/2 cup of oil

-Pinch of salt

– Chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Beat the eggs.
  2. Add all ingredients to the mixer.
  3. Mix everything together.
  4. Create balls and place on a baking tray.

5.Put the baking  tray in the oven at- 160 degrees for 12-15 minutes until brown.

Ingredients:

1.5 cup of flour

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1 teaspoon of sugar

1/2 small spoon of salt

One egg

Two spoons of oil

One cup of milk

Maple syrup

Instructions:

1.Mix the flour, the baking powder, the sugar, and the salt together in a bowl.

2.Add the milk, egg, oil, and mix.

3.Heat some oil in the skillet.

4.Fry the mixture with low fire.

5. Put the pancakes on a plate, and eat with maple syrup!

Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 ¼ cups of flour

1 ½ cups of sugar

pinch of salt

2 eggs

½ package of chocolate chips

1 package of baking soda

½ cup of oil

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

 

Equipment:

Wooden spoon

 

Instructions:

Mix the sugar with the oil. Add the eggs and the vanilla extract. Mix. Add the flour, salt, baking soda, and mix everything. Add the chocolate chips and mix again. Make circles. Heat oven up to 190* then put in the cookies for 12 minutes.

Ingredients:

1  cup of milk

1.5 tablespoons of sugar

10 grams of vanilla sugar

1 chocolate bar

1 egg

1 pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Chop the chocolate bar into small pieces
  2. Mix all the ingredients in the bowl
  3. Put the frying pan on the stove and heat with the oil
  4. Add one cup of the mixture to the frying pan and fry on both sides

Recipe for Sausage and Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag of pasta
  • 10 sausages
  • 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons of ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 4 tablespoons of oil (for the pasta)
  • 4 tablespoons of oil (for the sausages)
  • 4 tablespoons of chili
  • 1 pepper
  • 1 tomato
  • 5 liters of water

 

Instructions:

  1. Boil the water in the pot, on the stove, on medium heat.
  2. Add some oil and salt into the water and add the pasta.
  3. Cut the sausages into circles. Put the oil into a pan, and then put the sausages in.  Place the pan on the stove, on medium heat.
  4. Cut the tomatoes and the peppers into squares, add them to the pan.
  5. Add the soy sauce, ketchup and chili to the pan.
  6. Turn the pasta off, and put it in the pan, with the sausages.
  7. Stir it, and after one minute, turn off the stove.
  8. The dish is ready.

Pasta with Mushrooms

Fresh-grated mushroom package

Small onion, finely chopped

Clove garlic

20 grams of butter

Parmesan cheese

6 eggs

½ cup of cocoa

2 cups of flour

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1 cup of oil

½ cup of water

1 teaspoon of vanilla

Equipment:

A cup

Half a cup

Teaspoon

Instructions:

Mix the eggs and sugar in the mixer for a minute.

Add the oil and flour and cocoa. Mix for a minute.

Add everything. Mix for 5 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180 ° c

Put the mixture into a mold with baking paper and put it in the oven.

After 30 minutes remove the cake from the oven.

Cake coating:

A packet of powdered sugar

Spoon of oil

A packet of vanilla sugar

4 teaspoons of hot water

Mix everything in a bowl.

Put it on the cake.

Put candies on the cake.

Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups of all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

1 cup of butter

1/2 cup of white sugar

1 cup of brown sugar

1 teaspoon of salt

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

2 large eggs

2 cups of chocolate chips

 

How to make? (How to bake?)

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl for three minutes until the ingredients turn into dough. 

With the teaspoon, make small balls and put the dough balls on the baking dish.

Put the baking dish in the oven that was preheated. (180 c ̊)

Take out of the oven after 15 minutes. Now taste and enjoy!!
