When it’s Dark

In the trees

There are bees

You can see a dog

Running to catch a hedgehog

Oh! but the hog is spiky

Poor dog; he’s very unhappy!

I can see a butterfly

Fluttering in the sky

I wish I could fly!

Oh poor mum!

She stepped on a gum.

When I went to the park zoo

I lost my shoe

A lion chewed on it

And swallowed it.

I saw a snake

That escaped to the lake.

Come to park

Even when it’s dark

There is a spark!
