Ben Bat-Sheva and Ya’akov were born on the

day of Tevet 1911 in Tiberias. As a child he

moved with his family to Tel Aviv. After

completing his law school at the elementary

school, he went to “Young Hachshara” at

Kibbutz Alonim, and then spent another two

years in the “Ha’Oved Ha’Oved” youth training in Maoz Haim.

After years of training and agricultural work he

enlisted in the Notre-Dame and served in the

Notre-Dame Corps in a children’s village. In

1945 he returned to town, worked in the

building and studied the profession of plastering.

As soon as the War of Independence began, he

enlisted in the army and served in the Givati ​​

Brigade. Took a class commanders course and

liked his subordinates in his good temper. Be

cheerful and comfortable for people. Bear was

sent to a sports officers course and then

instructed in Beer Tuvia and Gan Yavne and

participated in battles in Jaffa and the southern region.

A bear fell in battle to occupy the Dras house

when he was among the burglars. He was

seriously wounded and died on May 11, 1948,

buried in Beer Tuvia.

On Friday, October 26, 1950, he was taken to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
