Earthquake is the shaking of the Earth’s surface resulting from a sudden release of energy into the Earth’s lithosphere that creates seismic waves. Earthquakes can range in size from those that are so weak that they cannot be felt violent enough to propel objects and people into the air, and wreak havoc across entire cities. The seismicity, or seismic activity, of an area is the frequency, type, and size of earthquakes experienced over a period of time.

At the Earth’s surface, earthquakes manifest themselves by shaking and displacing or disrupting the ground. When the epicenter of a large earthquake is located offshore, the seabed may be displaced sufficiently to cause a tsunami. Earthquakes can also trigger landslides and occasionally, volcanic activity.

In its most general sense, the word earthquake is used to describe any seismic event—whether natural or caused by humans—that generates seismic waves. Earthquakes are caused mostly by rupture of geological faults but also by other events such as volcanic activity, landslides, mine blasts, and nuclear tests. An earthquake’s point of initial rupture is called its hypocenter or focus.

In the last week in japan , we went to Disneyland again. it was such a beautiful place.
we’ve been there for a lot of time ! it was really magical.
then , we felt that the ground start shaking.
me and my family ran outside of the magical park and tried to keep our little siblings safe
we all was really scared.
that was the first earthquake that we’ve been in !
that was crazy. me and my family kept staying safe until the police , and the other firefighters came and made everything sure. We tried to make our little siblings clam down at this time.
we went back to our hotel to make everything okay.
what you should do when there is an earthquake:
1.you must – Move away from other buildings
2.you must’nt – stay in a building
3.you should – Call someone that can help , police , fire mans.
4.you should’nt – get panic
