My Time in Quarantine

When the quarantine started, it was very confusing.

At first we didn’t know how we could learn without going to school. We had to create a completely different routine than we had. We had to get used to a routine where you could hardly see your friends and family or go to school.

In this book, we wrote some things we did to take advantage of the “vacation” we had during the Corona.

Ayelet

I spent two and a half weeks in a zimer in Amirim.
The zimer has a beautiful view of lake kenerret.
The area was surround plenty of flowers and trees, cute little goats, cats,chickens and a peacock. We have our two little cousins live in Amirim with whom we spent our mornings and afternoons.

In the last week of the corona vacation, we visited again our cousins in Amirim. This time, my grandma joined us.
Near Amirim there is a small beautiful river with little waterfalls and we went there twice. It was very pleasant to enter the cool water in the hot weather.
We saw there camels and cows. We were told that we are lucky because this little river is dry during the summer.

On the 22nd of April we celebrated a birthday to my twin cousins in Raman Hasharon. It was a surprise for them. We were me and my sister, another cousin, my mother and my grandma. They were very happy to see us we ate birthday cake and my cousins and I played, as usual card games

During the quarantine, I spent a lot of time at home. Most of the time I didn’t have an online lesson or homework to do, I was very bored. Most of the time I was on the phone, saw Gray’s anatomy and talked to my friends on the phone.
After a few days, I realized it would be a long time before we got back to school, so I decided I needed to make a change.

Every day after I finished studying, I went out to our yard and played basketball with my dad for about an hour. When we were done, they went back inside and helped my parents make dinner, and after that we went for a short walk in the neighborhood.

Most of the time it was just me and my parents, because my sister joined the army three days after school ended, and she came home about once a month.

I never really liked the online classes. I couldn’t concentrate so well on what the teacher says because my family was home and I had lots of disagreements like my TV or my phone.
I wanted to go back to school so I could meet with my friends.

Sometimes I had problems getting into class, for example when the link wasn’t working.

We also did scout activities on zoom.

during the quarantine i went to the beach several times. A few times with my parents and 1 time with some of my friends. It was fun because i I haven’t been at beach in a long time.

There weren’t that many people there the first few times we went, but towards the end of the isolation as we started to get back into the routine, more and more people started coming.
