Mel Gibson

Mel Columbus Gerard Gibson was born on January 3, 1956, in Peskill , New York, United States. He later studied at the Australian National Institute of the Arts. During the Oscar-winner’s long career there were dozens of film productions in which he appeared as an actor, director and producer.

The actor’s youngest child is his 30-year-old younger girlfriend Rosalind Ross. Gibson has eight other children.

Mel Gibson built a private family church that bears the name “The Holy Family.” The place is surrounded by the picturesque mountains of Santa Monica. The church is traditionally Catholic, but is not recognized by the Vatican. Its only sponsor is the actor. Every year he transfers millions of levs to the account of a foundation that manages the church and of which he himself is a director.
