If something is not necessary use don’t have to/ doesn’t have to

She doesn’t have to cook every day

2. Permission (дозвіл)

Use can or am/is/are allowed to

We can use our phones during the break

If something is not permitted (не дозволено) use can’t or am not/ is not/ are not allowed to

I’m not allowed to come home late.

They can’t have TV in their room.
