CANTERBURY TALES
“The Canterbury tales” is a collection of stories in verse. It is set in spring and tells story of thirty people who are going on a pilgrimage.
“The Canterbury tales” is a long narrative poem with verse of rhyming couplets. The stories are narrated by the different pilgrims but the reporting pilgrims is Chaucer himself.
Chaucer wanted to give a potrait of English society. The new factor in “The Canterbury tales” is individualisation: the character exists because of the reaction and movement they had.
The main theme is the journey, in particuar the pilgrimage, that is not only a trip but it is something spiritual too.
COMMENT: This argument intrest me so much. When I study the Canterbury tales I study well because i can help me with the textbook.

THE WIFE OF BATH
The Wife of Bath is the most famous story of the Canterbury tales written by Geoffrey Chaucer. The main them is the role of women in the Middle age, in fact the protagonist is a lady that marries five men, against the Christian principles.
From this tale result that women where not considered for their qualities but only by their relationship with man.
Chaucer’s intent in this tale was to highlight that in a society is necessary that the roles of men and women are equal.

MY RETELLING OF THE WIFE OF BATH
Once upon a time a queen gave one of her young knights a task : he had to find the answer to this question: “What do women really want in their lives ?”
The knight traveled all around the world to find the answer.
At the biginning goes to all the girls asking the question. Then he tries himself differents methods to make happy the girls but he continued to find no answer. He discovered that every girl wants someting different related to the time and the place she lives.
So the knight understand that there is no universal answer becuse every girl is unique and special and the only secret is to really know deeply the girl you want to make happy and do every day all the little things that make her smile.
COMMENT: The rivistation of a tale means that you have understand the original story and then you have used this with your originality. In my opinion this is so good to stimolate learning. I also enjoyed creating the storyboard all we my hands!

LISTENINGS AND READINGS
During the online teaching we have done some readings and listenings about different themes.
The arguments that we studied were about fake news and different workplaces.
COMMENT: I don’t had difficulties doing listenings and readings. I liked so much exercise like true or false or read texts about differente themes and then answer questions about it.

ADAM DELIVING
The pictures below rappresents a stained glass window at the Canterbury Cathedral, created in 1176. The window rappresents Adam and the umanity exiled from Eden. The only salvation is rappresented by the river.
COMMENT: For this argoment we used a new site that i liked very much and i hope we use it again.

THE GREAT DICTATOR

We listened the Charlie Chaplin speech in this film and then we compare it at the same speech used for a spoth of “Lavazza”.
The Charlie Chaplin famous speech combined with impressive pictures make the pubblicity very strong.

AGAINST STEREOTYPES

YOU DON’T NEED TO STUDY IF YOU GO TO A SCHOOL OF ART
With this campaign I want that people know that the fact of doing nothing at the schools of art is false. I speak in the name of students of a school of art to tell people what we do because in my opinion people use this stereotype only because they are not informed well.
I want do lot of pics and video in the best way ever because theese are the tings we study, I want to do a video where there are me and my class mates while we are working to our progects in our classroom with the tecnic instruments.
In addiction I would like to take a picture of our progects and in general the pictures of the progects of all the students of schooles of art.
I hope can this idea can change the public opinion because the works we do are impegnatives and difficults like in the others school and it’s not true we don’t do anithing. We only study differents things, in a different way and with differents tools.
COMMENT: This writing and the video against stereotypes talks about the same theme. I enjoyed doing both works and also I was emotionally involved because the topic concerns me. This works were very helpful for everyone!
