One evening in the fall, George ran out of his house to the library, were he hadn’t been in years, there were books all over the place, wherever he looked, and though he was struggling to control an inward trembling, he easily counted of a hundred, then sat down at a table to read.

George came to the library every day, it was a rough journey for him to go through.
4

He read about animals and their special species,
6

he read cooking books and learned about new foods,
8

he read about countries and their cultures.
10

He felt important and valuable, he felt good to know things he hadn’t have known before.
12
Then one day he realized he actually loved reading, it was his favorite thing to do.
13
George wanted a job, but he loved reading books all day and didn’t know how to replace their spot in his life.
14
He talked to all of his new friends that he met at the library, and one of them said: “just work here! At the library!”
15
George loved that idea and started working the following week.
