A big problem in our society is that we can’t trust each other that much with anything.. That goes with politics, economics, research, and many others. But the one we can’t trust anyone on is reliability. I know that you are thinking, “Why reliability out of all things”? It is because of what can happen once you trust them enough. Which brings us to the impactful issue us homo sapiens have brought upon this world, coral reef destruction.

Q: What is Coral Reef Destruction?
A: Coral Reef Destruction is a serious threat to our ocean wildlife’s food chain, and for those who don’t know what a coral reef is, it is a type of sentient plant that looks like a rock
Q: why is coral reef destruction so bad for our wildlife?
A: most fish rely on coral reefs for shelter, but if it’s destroyed, then predators will be able to find their food much easier, which will cause an immense change in the ecosystem. Plus, the trash can enter the coral reefs and communities of the ocean, which fish will mistake as prey, then it will transfer to the birds, thinking they got a free lunch.
| Script Part 2: Solutions
Our biggest solution for such a big problem is to minimize the usage of cardboard, plastic, cans, and aluminum, which will mean that some companies that rely on those resources will have to change the kind of material they will use and will have to change some rules. For example Domino’s Pizza. Domino’s uses cardboard boxes to keep the pizza warm once they are ready for delivery, but if there is a millennial amount of cardboard that can be used each day, they will have to be wise of where to put the pizza in. |
