May I have this dance, Loretta?

What choice do I have? There’s just the two of us left.

The band is playing one of my old favorite songs. I love Cole Porter.

I saw you flirting with Shirley before she left.

2

Ah, Shirley was just a fleeting fancy. You’re the love of my life. It’s so good holding you tight.

You’re not so bad yourself, Herb.

Wanna take this to the next level, Loretta?

What are you talking about? Everyone can see us exactly what we’re up to.

Given our state of our affairs, it might be the last time.

Then you better grab me fast. I see another guy looking in our direction.

He doesn’t look well-dressed. He’s not your type. He probably can’t afford you.

He’s actually looking at you, Herb.

4

Me? A guy? What’s to look at?

You still have what it takes, Herb. I am thinking he could make quite a meal out of you. Beneath that tough exterior, you’re all soft and tender inside.

Let’s hope he’s a vegetarian. Oh, no, he’s looking at the lobster menu. He’s headed our way.

Embrace me. Let’s play dead. Customers hate dead lobsters from the tank.

Oh, that was close. He ended up ordering the cold lobster salad.

6

That would be Louis. May he rest in peace.

Louis was quite a catch.

Indeed he was.

So shall we do it?

Yes, let’s fall in love.
