Bob, the bookshop owner,
the nicest bookshop owner you will ever meet
enjoyed every moment being at work, arranging new books or old ones
on the shelf, helping cotumers, exchanging thoughts and ideas, being busy,
and oh, what a busy shop it was.
But alas,
Bob had to close and sell his beloved shop, now it is one of many casualties
of
‘the covid’

Bob was devastated.

he was completely invested in his shop

all of his money and dreams

he loved books, and since he was too afraid to write his own piece,

he never stopped reading others’

But dreams are for dreamers and life is for the living,

and he is evidently alive- why else the bills would keep pile up?!

he was almost broke, and the only job one could find in corona days are bankers and Amazon workers.

despite this is the furthest thing he wants, he got a job

‘these are dark days indeed’

Bob kept thinking while staring at the gass beneath his boots, walking slowly to the place he could not bare to be at.

he thought he was getting closer to making his dream come true by working hard, but it seems that the world demands

otherwise.

he tried to rub the mud on his shoe, on the stair, but he lost his balance and soon was falling awkwardly from several steps.

It is really not that hard to slip some stairs and break your leg.

but is it easy to lose the enterprise of your life, break your leg,

lose a job you barly had and get evicted from your apartmant?

well, Bob sure thinks it comes more than easy to him.

he was sitting in his mother basment- his new home

mourn the life he had, and of his ‘misfortune’.

at first he just felt lonely,

but after a while

he was simply

bored.

he could’nt sleep, he could’nt eat

and he have already rrad all the books he has, twice.

he wanted to move forward , but he needed to unburden himself first,

and what better way than using your words for it?!

he sat on his laptop for hours,

then- days, he didn’t know before that he had so many words within him, it was hid dream to write but he never had somthing authentic to tell

but now,

when he has nothing else to do

he can not do anything else but write.

no big hopes or dreams- just write.

He had finished his novel a few days before he met Ann.

she was a very nice neighbour of his mother who was looking for book donations for a project she was working on for the community.

and she met just the right guy to talk to about books.

he told her of his experience in writing, and she asked to read it.

he thought, she will probably be the only one who will ever read it.

two days later and she calles him with the most shocking qustion “would toy like to be a published auther?”
