Cream Puff Creation

“I’m going to do it Dave. I am going to make the best cream puffs you have ever tasted!”

Julia mixed up her concoction. I am sure you just take these ingredients and shape them into cream puffs.

Julia searched for her baking sheet. She scrambled through her pots and pans in a rush and reached for  a baking sheet in the back of her cabinet.

 She spooned the dough onto the baking sheet and shaped them into what she thought looked like a cream puffs. It looked as if the cream puffs were melting into flattened cookies on the pan. Julia picks up one of the cream puffs and begins to mold it together. This doesn’t look right. She looked around the  table and found the flour. She added the flour to the batch and molded them again. They looked more like cream puffs and Julia decides to put them in the oven and sets the timer for 25 minutes.
“BEEP BEEP”  the timer went off.

“They are ready!” Julia yells

Julia grabs her oven mitts and yanked the pan out of the oven.

Julia looks at them and takes a little nibble.

Julia begins to gag, “EW!” she screamed and spit them out of her mouth.

Internal Response/Plan

 Julia couldn’t believe that the cream puffs didn’t come out right. Julia plopped down onto the chair and slouched her shoulders. She sighed a deep sign, “I wish I could have done better,”she whimpered  She so wanted to make them for Dave, he had loved them so much, she wanted to do something special for him because she wanted to show how much she cared for him. 

Julia thought to herself, “what went wrong? I need to do something different.” Julia thought and thought, “hmm… maybe I can read a recipe to help me.”

“Do you have the directions?” Dave asked.”I am excited to try out this new restaurant that you recommended, it sounds yummy.” Dave walked towards Julia who was adding last minute touch ups to her makeup.

 “No, I don’t have directions, but I know where I am going. Let’s go,
