Book report: the jungle book

Name: The jungle book

Author: Rudyard Kipling

Genre: adventure

New cover: This picture is the cover for the movie about the jungle book. I think it fits the book really well because this book is darker then other versions and the book’s cover is too childish in my opinion.

Plot: A pack of wolves find a baby and they name him Mowgli. Because of his bravery they let him stay with them. There is a tiger named Shere khan. He wants to eat Mowgli but the wolves do not want Mowgli to die so they are protecting him from Shere khan. When Akela the leader of the wolves gets old, someone needs to replace him. The wolf that kills him will be the leader. But Shere khan makes some young wolves hate Mowgli and by this, makes him leave the pack.

My favorite character: My favorite character is Bagheera because he helps mowgly without a reason.

Book review: I liked this book but I think I won’t recommend it. It is preaty good but too short and there is just a lot of better books that I can recommend.
