The amish is a group of people that life like the past, they live in the world bat ”not in the world”.

they not use in electrical appliances, they not have a phone, they us horses instead of cars, they cook without gas, even the machines they already have then do not work on electricity

they live like this all their life so they do not feel it is something special.

the amish work is in, the farm, carpentry, prepare home accessories and in the fields.

They are simple people and live by nature, they get up at sunrise from the chickens and sleep that it getting dark because they do not have any lamps or distractions.

they closed community, they are not in touch with the world, disconnected.

they have a private schools, school only of the amish , they can choose to leave from school at age 14, 8th grade, this decision was agreed in the united states in 1972.

they have a lot a children ,each family has at least 6 children.

the amish women they homemaker ,they cooking, cleanrs , dressmaker clothes and dresses,

the normal clothes is a dresses, Some groups wear only black and white and some groups are allowed more muted colors, they cant to wear zippers and scotches, instead they using in pins to close their closed, the most beautiful clothes are used for religious ceremonies.

they wear simple, without much variety because they believe everyone should be equal

Amish has no house of prayer or gathering place To hold religious ceremonies

they meet in the farm of one of the friends and They do religious ceremonies in a friends’ farm because

in the past they was persecuted so they could not pray in churchesne. 

And their pastimes are a little different

Instead of going to movies or other pastimes they enjoy activities around the house and on the farm. With the animals and in the open areas

The farm is their Sports field , sometimes it is dangerous and unsafe.

Baseball is the most popular activity in the school

The Amish was in America for a long time, but they were not always there, they originate is from Europe, in germany

but in Europe they were not allowed to do their customs , lifestyle and because they were needed land to farm they

moved to America in the early 18th the

the amish choose this way of life because they want to be with their family, and to take care of them more, and treat them. they try to be simple and private, they wont to enjoy from the simple life.

in 1920 they was 5000 and today they almost 300,000

today they are in 30 countries

most of them are in Ohio
