Manhattan Morning Meander

Manhattan beckoned. I followed.

The water couldn’t decide whether to freeze or not. My body was. Freezing.

This is me, chilling in Central Park. Even the Canadian in me was cold.

To warm up, I stepped into the Apple Store. Oops. I ended up having a conversation about life with Diana. She talked me into buying an iPhone for my wife. After all, Valentine’s day is on Sunday, isn’t it.

I was the ‘siftach’ (the first sale) at Abercombie and Fitch. The salesperson was happy. At least one of us was.

I visited the Trump tower to learn Donald’s secret.

And to Victoria, to learn hers…

I had lunch* with my friend of many years, Dvora…

And my new and true friend, her dear husband Perry…

I sang for my dessert with Cassandra Mears.

There were calories to walk off. So I did….
