The lost gold necklace

on my twelve birthday I asked my mom to by

me a new present for my “Bat Mitzva”.

my mother thought about it but she couldn’t

find something to buy for me.

then she consulted with my grendmother and

Old gold necklace.

The necklace has been passed down in a

tradition from mother to daughter.

The gold necklace has a pendant of “Magen

David”, (Star of david).

When my birthday has arrived I was opening

my presents and I saw my mom’s gift.

At first I thought she bought me a necklace

from “Yad 2”, cause it was old and worn.

But then, my mom explained to me that this

necklace was passed down in a tradition

from mother to daughter.

After my birthday was over, I put the

necklace on my neck, and I had it on all the

time.

but some day, I walked to school as everyday,

and suddenly…

I fell of to the ground, my necklace torn off

from my neck and lost in the sand.

I was extremely nervous, and I thought that

my mom would have been really mad at me.

When I got home from school I told my mom

what happened, and she wanted us to go and

look for it.

My mom and I went to look for the necklace,

and we were searching for a lot of time,

but after three hours of searching, we finally

found the necklace!!

My mom fixed my necklace and put it on my

neck once again, and it was such a relife for me

to know that I did not destroyed the tradition.
