Wild places (USA)

In July I travelled to Death Valley in the USA. Its a very dry place, with almost no rain for most of the year, so there arent many plants. Its ablosutely boiling in summer, with temperatures over fifty degrees! We learned abot what life was like here in the past - that was absolutely fascinating. The first Europeans who arrived called it Death Valley because without water, you cant live there for very long.
