Endless Detention

Let me tell you a little story. Three years ago I was 16 years old ,six other children from my class  and I, were given a task to clean the school basement. After that day Nothing was the same again …

Meet: Kate, Roy, Mike, Lucas, Erica and Veronica.

Everyone was doing the wrong thing; Roy and Lucas fought with each other, Mike and Erica burned down the chemistry lab, and Katie sprayed graffiti but only a little. It’s weird that we’re all together in punishment because we are not friends!
We’re not even talking with each other! And it’s annoying to clean together.

So everyone came to the basement with mops ,brooms and cleaning products .I took the mop.  Cleaning the basement was so boring …  I started to clean under the carpet ,I picked it up and I saw a handle. I called to everyone: “Come on fast!” Everyone came quickly, Lucas asked: “What is it? Open it!!

Roy said: “I do not like it” and Kitty said: “I will open the door” I shouted: “No !!!” She opened the door and we all saw …  a very strange box. Erika said: “What a strange box” and Mike said: “yes ..” and I I thought to myself that it would be? it is better not to open it, Although I was curious.

I think most of us thought it was just nothing, I admit, I thought so too. Mike opened the box and inside was a colorful box, Katie opened it and we saw ..  weird objects with signs and instruction sheet. I said: “Okay let’s read” and I started reading…

The headline was “The Mysterious Game”. It was written: “In this game you decide what the rules are” We were all curious. Erica said: “What do you mean?” I kept reading “and you need to choose the director of the game” .Roy Yashar said “I am the director” and Lucas replied: “I am the director what do you think” and they started a fight …

Erica laughed and said: “That it!!Enough!!” and I said  “Yes, you right, nothing is written anymore” We threw a dice to decide who will be in charge.  and I won, Roy said: “It’s not fair!” And Katie said “She won, so it’s fair” So.. we started writing the rules, everyone gave an idea, we called the game “our game”

So the punishment time ended and we started to meet and get to know each other better .. We met a lot and enjoyed our friendship, Katie and I started to get to know Erika and the boys also got to know each other. In one of our meetings I thought that we actually never knew each other before and the punishment gave us the chance to get to learn more about each other  … so what luck we got a punishment, right? From complete strangers we became good friends, today we are best friends forever …
