The book of Ruth

Elimelech and his wife Naomi lived in Bet Lechem, they were very rich.

At this time there was a drought in Israel and a lot of poor people came to Elimeleche to ask for money, Elimelech didn’t want to give them money so he decided to move to Moav with his family

when Elimelech came to Moav his two sons got married to the daughters of Moavs king, Ruot and Orpa.

after a while, Elimelech and his two sons died, and Naomi left alone.

Noami decided to go back to Israel, even if she has no money.

Rout and Orpa wanted to go with Naomi, bat she told them not to come with her, Orpa lisend to her and went back home, bat Rout dident lisend and she told her, “your g-d and your life and your people are for me”, and they went together to Israel.

Noami and Ruot arrived to Isreal, and because they had no money, Rout went to glean the grain and she did it in a really modest way, Boas saw it and loved her modesty. after a while they got merried, and a day after the wadding Boas died, bat she already was pregnent and she birth the grandfather of King David.

Which character do you admire and why?

we admire Ruot because she left evrything, her home, her family, Her whole life to be with her hasbents mom in a strenger land with no money.
