Love of cooking

Jamie Oliver is a British professional chef. He is known for his kitchen, which has led him to front numerous television shows and open many restaurants. In June 2003, Oliver was awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire.
This is the Jamie whole life. He loves what he does and thinks that’s why because his attitude and love for cooking is so special. He gives his best.
He shares that he loves to cook and that he sometimes refuses friends to go for a walk to enjoy his wonderful time in the kitchen!
He always says that everything in cooking is love. For him, there is a mysterious magic in cooking that makes everyone who enters the kitchen become a happy and successful person.
I have chosen this topic because Jamie Oliver is one of the most fun and enjoyable chefs who understands his work and does everything out of love and I am also keen on cooking like my mum. https://youtu.be/D_2DBLAt57c

World Famous Person I Admire

Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Serie A club Juventus and captains the Portugal national team.

Often considered the best player in the world and widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, Ronaldo has won five awards and four European Golden Shoes, both of which are records for a European player. He has won 32 major trophies in his career, including seven league titles, five UEFA Champions Leagues, one UEFA European Championship, and one UEFA Nations League title.

Biography

Ronaldo was born on February 5, 1985 in Madeira and was named Ronaldo after the then US President Ronald Reagan. His parents are Maria dos Santos Aveiro and José Dinis Aveiro. He grew up in a poor family and had to share a bedroom and bathroom with his older brother and two older sisters. He started playing soccer at an early age when he was just eight. He was always running away from doing homework. Ronaldo was nicknamed ‘cry baby’ because he felt bad when he used to pass the ball to his friends and they couldn’t score. A very popular student in school, Ronaldo was expelled at the age of 14 for throwing a chair at his teacher who Ronaldo thought disrespected him. He then turned his entire attention to soccer and went on to become the world’s greatest soccer player. But at the age of 15 Cristiano was diagnosed with ‘racing heart’. His condition was serious and would have made him let go of football. But a surgery saved him and he went back for his training. At the age of 17, Ronaldo played his first professional game for the ‘Portuguese Super League.’

Ronaldo’s causes and volunteering

Cristiano Ronaldo is at the top not only among the aces on the football field. The current winner of the Golden Ball turned out to be the leader in the ranking made in the United States for the most active star in sports in charitable initiatives.

In 2015 alone, Ronaldo raised more than € 1 million in charities and appearances for charity, paid for brain surgery and the recovery of a 10-year-old boy he doesn’t know personally (about $ 83,000 is the intervention alone), and donated his traditional check for 100,000 euros at a cancer clinic in his native Madeira. He has been doing it every year since his mother’s illness was overcome there in 2007.

He is an activist of the “FIFA 11 against Ebola” and a UNICEF ambassador in the fight against hunger.

Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to contribute to the fight against the coronavirus by turning his hotels in Portugal into temporary hospitals.
The treatment is completely free for the sick, and the Portuguese himself bears all the costs related to the medical procedures and the doctors’ salaries. Ronaldo also volunteered at these hospitals.

Ronaldo has made a huge contribution to the development of mankind by throwing his captain’s armband during the World Cup qualifier against Serbia. The tape was sold at a charity auction in Serbia for 63.8 thousand euros. The funds raised are intended to be given for the treatment of little Gavrilo Djurdjevic from Kragujevac, who suffers from spinal muscular atrophy. Ronaldo donates huge sums of money to people in need and to this day he does not have a tattoo because once a year he goes to donate blood.

Why did I chose to write for Ronaldo and why I admire him

I chose Ronaldo because he is one of the real people who do not forget where they came from. Ronaldo is one of the greatest people who constantly donate to all areas of humanity- poverty, children, human rights, education, slavery and others! I admire this footballer a lot, because outside of football he is a wonderful and happy child of poor and needy children and adults! My opinion of him will never be changed and I will forever remember this ‘poor boy’ who grew up to be a real and humane man who has made a huge contribution to all of humanity!
