Our Book Of Love

Елена Петрова
,, I will always love you” by Whitney Houston (1992)
The song was first written and recorded in 1974 by Dolly Parton, who is known for the popular “Jolene,” among handfuls of other hits over the years.
What most people probably aren’t aware of, is what the song was actually written about.
Parton was in a working relationship with singer Porter Wagoner until 1973. For five years, she starred alongside him on his TV show, “The Porter Wagoner Show,” and with great success.
When Parton decided to go, she and Wagoner butted heads over whether it was the right decision.
So she went home and, “out of a very emotional place,” wrote the song “I Will Always Love You.”
She went to Wagoner the next day and sang the song for him.
“He was crying. He said, ’That’s the prettiest song I ever heard. And you can go, providing I get to produce that record.’ And he did, and the rest is history,” Parton said.
She went on to record her next album, which featured “I Will Always Love You.” It became a multiple-time No. 1 hit.
Parton later said the song represented her desire to convey to Wagoner that she cared about him and appreciated him, but that it was time to leave.
“It’s saying, ‘Just because I’m going don’t mean I won’t love you,’” she told CMT. “’I appreciate you and I hope you do great and I appreciate everything you’ve done, but I’m out of here.’”
After Houston’s success with her version, Parton said, “The effect that it had on the whole world was amazing. It’s been one of the biggest songs ever.”

Travel Quotes

“Traveling – it leaves you speachless, then turns you into a storyteller”. I agree with this quote because the views can really leave you speachless. At first you are stunned by the beauty of the place but then the memories from there can turn into a more beautiful story. I love traveling because this is one of the things that makes me happy. I want to visit many countries and cities. Some of them are: Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro and Paris. I have only been in Turkey and Greece and I would gladly go again.

World Famous Person I Admire

Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie is an American actress, filmmaker, and humanitarian. Angelina was born on June 4, 1975, in Los Angeles, California. Her parents are the actor Jon Voight and the actress Marcheline Bertrand. Jolie committed to acting professionally at the age of 16, but initially found it difficult to pass auditions, often being told that her demeanor was “too dark.” She began to learn from her father, as she noticed his method of observing people to become like them. Their relationship during this time was less strained, with Jolie realizing that they were both “drama queens.” Jolie began her professional film career in 1993, when she played her first leading role in the direct-to-video science-fiction sequel Cyborg 2, as a near-human robot designed for corporate espionage and assassination. She was so disappointed with the film that she did not audition again for a year. Jolie’s career prospects began to improve after she won a Golden Globe Award for her performance in TNT’s George Wallace (1997). By 2008, Jolie was considered the highest-paid actress in Hollywood, earning $15–$20 million per film. She has six children: three sons and three daughters. Of the children, three were adopted internationally, while three are biological. The actress has appeared in over thirty film productions since 1982.

Why I Have Chosen This Pearson?

I chose Angelina not only because she is a wonderful actress, mother and person, but because she has helped many people in need and continues to do so. She has adopted 3 children from different parts of the world and loves them as her own. I like her because she has achieved a lot and helped many people in need. More people and celebrities need to follow her example and be like her.
