In our first stop we visited the park of the Capodimonte Palace where we encountered various wild plants and other cultivated ones. Specifically, we studied and learned to recognize the Pungitopo, botanical name Ruscus Aculeatus which makes a red berry that is and used at Christmas as a decoration, Laurel, botanical name Laurus Nobilis, which can be used to flavor dishes in the kitchen, then we saw a 200 year old tree that has wooden twigs that give off a balsamic smell
