Andrea and friends: A Fall Day of Fun

“Hey besties,” reads a text sent out by Andrea to her five friends on their friends’ Snapchat edition group-chat “want to hang out this weekend and go on a fall walk? “sure, I think I’m free,” replies Jashmira. “lemme see,” said Serilda. “I’m pretty sure I’m free,” texted Adithi. Jillian doesn’t reply, so later that day, Andrea pays her a visit with Serilda, and they discuss the plan. Next on the list is Joan, who doesn’t check Snapchat very often. Andrea texts her on discord: “I don’t know,” she says back. This being typical Joan behavior, Andrea ignores it.

A few days later, Adithi arrives at the house wearing her favorite black heels. Not long after, Jashmira comes through the door with a bag of hot Cheetos. The three girls sit down on Andreas’s couch and crunch on the Cheetos while catching up with each other. Before long, Jillian and Serilda arrive at the front door with their brothers Riley and Nicholas. Jillian presents Andrea with her sisters’ homemade pumpkin spice cake loaf; the cake’s aroma fills the house entrance.

“Where’s Joan now” sighs Jashmira “probably at home” replies Andrea, “I think we just need to pick her up from her house”. Grace bursts into the room full of energy as usual “when are we gonna goooo??” she asks impatiently. “How about we go right now” suggests Andrea. With that the girls all slowly get up and head towards the entrance. “Hey Riley” says Nicholas “You’re wearing my shoes” Riley looks down at his feet “oops”. The boys switch their shoes and head out the door.

Andrea and friends walk down her porch; they walk past the park and to Joan’s. Ding dong Joan opens the door and appears in her hello kitty nightgown. “hi guys, I don’t know if I wanna come today,” she groans. Typical Joan. A little persuasion on Jashmira’s end eventually gets Joan to agree to hang out for the day. She quickly changes her clothes while Andrea and her friends wait on the porch. In no time, they are on their way to the nearby trail to see the pretty fall leaves in no time.

=They walk past a school and also a Tim Hortons. They pass the Pizza Pizza and make their way into the empty grasslands leading to the trail. As they approach the hue of trees Adithi Jashmira, Serilda, and Jillian pull out their phones to take some photos while Andrea walks ahead of them taking a snapchat video and filming for her vlog. Joan also takes a stop to tie her undone shoelace which has actually been bothering Andrea for a while.

They made their way into the forest where the trees surrounding them had leaves of many colours. Reds, Yellows, Oranges and a few green stragglers, it sure was a pretty sight. Grace started plucking every green leaf she could reach
