H2o; the diary of a water molecule

Oh hey, I’m H2O, and you’re probably wondering how I got here. Well, it’s a long story that started with me in the ocean………

It was a quiet day floating around in the blue when suddenly I felt sun rays on me and energy from the sun made me start rising into the sky.

I had evaporated!

A bunch of other water molecules and I had gathered into a formation of condensation, we were now in a cloud. 

It had been a few days, when we started to feel heavy. Gravity was forcing us to begin to precipitate. We all rained down onto a mountain, it was so cold. We all froze into snow for a very long time.

When we finally began to melt and run down the mountain in a runoff into the ocean.

It was nice and calm when all of a sudden I started splashing around, I splashed into the ground by the edge of the ocean and got stuck in the soil as groundwater. 

Sometime in my days as groundwater, a plant’s roots began to suck me up!

I was brought into the plant and sometime later something ripped the plant out of the ground and I was taken with it. 

I later figured out that it was an animal that had eaten the plant, and now I was stuck in an animal.

After a while I got out of the animal and was in a river. The river flowed all the way into a lake. 

And that was my exciting experience as a traveling water molecule!
