Once upon a time, there was a beautiful molecule named Rebecca. Rebecca has been very sad lately because she hasn’t been able to explore the world outside of the ocean yet.

Almost every other raindrop has been able to see the clouds but Rebecca hasn’t gotten the chance to evaporate. She had nothing to do so she just decided to chill in the ocean. She spends hours and hours in the ocean just watching fish swim by.

Unexpectedly she started lifting up into the air. It didn’t take her long to realize that she was finally evaporating!! Once in the clouds, there weren’t many others there, but she didn’t mind. She started condensation where she turned to a water droplet.

Still floating through the air she started to freeze, and Rebecca fell as a snowflake onto an icy glacier.

The icy glacier began to melt because of the sun. She flowed down a river into a small lake. Next to this lake, there was a deer, the deer began to drink the water from the lake. The deer eventually did respiration and Rebecca was breathed out. From the deer, it transferred into the soil, and after a while, Rebecca traveled under the ground as groundwater.

Then Rebecca got soaked up by the roots of a flower and gave it healthy nutrients. Eventually, when she had fully traveled through the flower, Rebecca once again evaporated into the clouds and rained back to the ocean, where she was joined by other molecules going through the water cycle.

Rebecca was finally happy because she finally got to go through the water cycle, and is ready to do it again.
