As a water droplet I started out in the ocean. I stayed in the ocean for many years before being heated up by heat energy from the sun. The heat from the sun caused me to evaporate. Me and millions of other water droplets condensed to form clouds.

Once there were enough of us together, we got heavy so gravity pulled us to the earth which is called precipitation. I landed back in the ocean and this process keeps repeating for a long time. After a while I got lucky and fell in a river where I flow with the currents.

After a while I ended up in a lake. I float around in the lake till an animal comes around and drinks me. I slowly flow through the animal until I make it out. I soak into the soil and go further and further down until I reach groundwater. I flow through the groundwater and eventually I end back up in the lake.

Again the heat energy from the sun heats me up. I evaporate and condense to become another cloud. This time when gravity pulls me down I become snow because of how cold it is. I sit around in the snow for months until it warms up outside. I melt and become water again.

I soak into the ground and eventually hit more groundwater. I end up in the ocean where I started. This cycle continues for millions of years. The water you drink everyday could be millions of years old.
