My Journey Through The Water Cycle

Hi my name is Wally the water molecule. This is a photo of me to the left. Today you will come with me to experience my first time through the water cycle. You probably never realized where we start, go, and end.

Now that you know who I am lets get started. One day I was minding my own business it was Saturday probably around two in the afternoon when all of a sudden… I felt my body starting to float to the surface of the water and then within seconds I was out of the water it felt so unreal because I had never been outside my home. 

I didn’t know what was happening at first and then I thought back to what we learned in school and I remembered my teacher talking about this but I wasn’t really paying attention so I didn’t know what to do so I just stayed calm and would just see what would happen.

This is what a water molecule evaporating looks like. Evaporation is when the sunlight hits the water molecules. After I was done with evaporation the next step was condensation, condensation is when water vapor turns into a liquid. condensation is the opposite of evaporation where liquid becomes a vapor instead of vapor turning into a liquid.

Everyone has seen at least one cloud in their life, now you have probably never know why or how they are there. clouds are formed with condensation in the air. After I was brought up into the air for condensation. I couldn’t remember what the next step was but I sure was scared because I had been through so much over time. 

AHHHH all of a sudden I was falling from the sky I was so scared I couldn’t even keep my scream in. The step I was going through was precipitation I was getting pulled down harder than I expected I realized it was gravity pulling me down. I finally smacked the earth it didn’t hurt as bad as I thought it would but I wouldn’t recommend it. First, I was just a little water molecule living my life Next I was floating into the sky, then I was condensing, and then I was falling into the sky and now I’m back on earth and the cycle repeats.
