Improvising Melodies

This is a book about improvising a melody and what goes into it.

A melody is a line of music that is the “lead” part of the music. It is usually accompanied by another line of music that supports it. Improvising is when you come up with something on the spot. When improvising a melody you are basically just coming up with your own line of music that you came up with on the spot.
