Meeting Oliver

I was at my brothers football game. I was watching his game. It seemed like it was going on forever. I was not sure how much longer I could take standing there watching him tackle people. My eyes were burning because of his stupid game.

My mother told me that one of our family members were coming.  Who is it? Who is it? I screamed in her face. She told me I’d just have to wait. Lots of my family members were already there. I thought it might be my Grandma Beth.

Then I saw someone walking towards us. I realized it was my Uncle Nate and Aunt Eva. They had my new baby cousin Oliver with them. He looked so cute. He had such tiny hands and feet. I wanted to hug him so bad.

My family started giving Oliver hugs and kisses. We all took turns rocking him and holding him tight. My brother kept looking over trying to get a better look at Oliver. I don’t know if he knew  that it was his baby cousin. Then the buzzer buzzed which meant the game was yes, finally done!!!!!! I was so glad my brother’s team won. We could go home.

We took Oliver to our house and he loved it. He hung out at our house for a week. They had to leave then. All good things must come to an end though. I was so bored before they came. Then I got excited when they did come!   Now I’m back to being bored. I just hope they come back some day.
