“It is bedtime, Milo”, says Mum.
“Up you go to brush your teeth..”
“Sure”, says Milo, yawning a big yawn,
“But first, I must have a drink, I am ever so thirsty.”

“Are your teeth shiny white yet?” asks Mum, thinking that Milo is already looking in the mirror checking his glistening clean teeth.
“In a minute,” answers Milo while he rummages through the kitchen larder.
“But first, I must have something to eat, my tummy is rumbling.”

“Did you remember to screw the lid back on the toothpaste tube?” shouts Mum, hoping Milo will hear her voice all the way upstairs.
“I will Mum,” replies Milo, holding a pen and paper.
“But first – I need to do my homework.”

“And find my missing shoe…

“And order twenty purple light bulbs, cinammon chewing gum, forty yellow feathers, and toilet paper for my hamster.”

And water the plants….

“Mom, I’m going to brush my teeth right now. Have you seen my toothbrush anywhere?

“Are your teeth White yet’ calls Mum- thinking that Milo is already looking in the mirror checking his shiny clean teeth.
‘In a minute” answers Milo who is rummaging through the kitchen larder
But first, I must have something to eat, my tummy is rumbling.

But first -I must practise my writing, today we learnt all about the letter M
Milo starts with an M.
“Miloooh”, sighs Mum,”You had so many sugary snacks today, boy Oh boy, your teeth need a good clean.
“Yes mum”, replies Milo-
But first, I must find my missing shoe, I can’t possibly go to school tomorrow with just one shoe on..
Up the stairs Milo skips when he notices a sparkly blue bouncy ball on the top step.
Down he goes to put the ball in his schoolcase, his friends would love to play with it during breaktime.
“Milo, it is really late- How about brushing your teeth at last ?” yawns Mum
Mum brushes her teeth and falls into a deep deep sleep. – THIS IS TELLING, WRITER SHOULD SHOW RATHER THAN TELL
