The girl of nature

Once upon a time there was a village where there was a kingdom.

The queen of the kingdom named Isabella, had a family who was not in touch with her, because of the incident that happened to her sister.

The queen’s sister discovered that she had supernatural powers and only stayed in touch with her, after a few years she did not hear from her anymore. 

One day, the new queen saw a baby floating on the river and decided to adopt her.

She called the baby Astrid.

When Astrid reached the age of 6, she suddenly began to have strange marks on her body.

She showed them to her mother and she began to worry.

She realized that what was happening to Astrid was what had happened to her sister and decided not to tell the king about it.

The rumor began to spread in the village and everyone was stressed and worried about the princess and brought doctors to try to understand what had happened to her.

After about a year, Astrid went out to pick strawberries with her stepfather.

Astrid got hurt from a shrub and began to cry.

After a minute a black cloud stood just above Astrid and it began to rain.

The king realized that something was wrong with her and that she had a certain power and invited a sorcerer who would take her powers.

 The sorcerer gave the king black powder which would help take the power from Astrid. The king had to smear the powder at night on Astrid’s stains. Astrid listened to the conversation of the king and the sorcerer and decided to try to escape. Isabella also listened to the conversation of the king and the sorcerer and decided to help Astrid escape. She went to Astrid and said, “I saw you listening to a conversation… So just know I’m on your side. You’re connected to me. I love you and I will always take care of you. Now let’s get out of here before it’s too late”.

They snuck into the powder at night and managed to replace the powder with charcoal and evade the king, so at least they thought. But they did not know it was too late. The king managed to smear the powder on Astrid’s stains. He went back to sleep pleased to know that the real powder had been absorbed into Astrid’s body. Astrid and her mother packed up as many as they could and fled the kingdom. They decided to sail by boat to a lonely island far from the village.

While sailing Astrid began to feel dizzy and nauseous. Those were the side effects of the powder. The sea began to rumble and became strong and dangerous and the ship did not withstand the force and capsized . Because Astrid had nausea and she controlled nature he started to get dangerous. They drowned and were swept away and then a mysterious woman appeared on the horizon and decided to help them. She led them to the beach and took care of them.

The stepmother woke up and recognized the mysterious woman’s face – she was her sister! She explained: “I have lived here on this lonely island for many years. I had to flee because I was afraid they would catch me and take the forces away from me with a special powder. I knew the forces were inherited so I sent my house to a river that would lead to a distant place and I hoped she would manage there very well”.

Her mother made a medicine for the powder quickly as they had prepared for her in her teens – a medicine that would restore the natural forces of Astrid. She brought into a bowl water, air, earth, fire. She used all the forces of nature. She applied the potion to Astrid’s stains, and after a few minutes she woke up healthier and stronger than ever.

And they have lived happily ever after.
