Chapter 1

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Violet with very long black hair. Her hair was so long, it could reach about googleplex times around the universe. The only way to comb it was to tie combs to millions of tiny rockets and shoot them up into space.

One day, when Violet was tying combs to the rockets, her mom told her that she was going to the store to buy more rockets and combs. Violet said that she could get along fine while her mother was out. So her mother went out to the store. 

While her mom was out, Violet finished combing her hair with rockets. Then, Violet went out to the store to find her mom and tell her which combs she liked best and hurt least. So Violet went to the store and found her mom. But her mom had already bought combs. Luckily, she had bought the right combs.

So Violet and her mom went home, only to find that Violet’s dad had been fired from his job. The dad told his family that he had tried to cook dinner but he was not a good cook. The dinner was all completely exploded, burnt trash. So the mother went back to the store to buy ingredients for dinner.

The dad went to find a new job and Violet was left home alone with their puppy Sweetie. 

Sweetie was a very naughty puppy. She had soon eaten all the burnt old food. So Violet cleaned up. But when she was cleaning up, she saw that Sweetie had run away. So Violet decided to go out and find Sweetie.

Sweetie was running around chasing birds in the soccer field. When Violet finally managed to catch Sweetie, she discovered that the soccer players were mad at Sweetie for ruining their game. 

Violet told the soccer players that Sweetie was just a puppy and that she did not mean any harm. Then Violet went home with Sweetie just in time to see her mom and dad come home. Violet’s mother made dinner and Violet’s father said that he had found a new job. 

After dinner, Violet and her family decided to go on vacation in two weeks. Violet wanted to show Sweetie doggy daycare so that she would be ready to stay in doggy daycare during the vacation. Violet drove with her mom and Sweetie to doggy daycare and Sweetie met a new doggy friend named Floppy. Floppy and Sweetie chased each other around until it was time for Violet, Sweetie, and Violet’s mom to go home. 

When Violet got home, Sweetie was so upset that she had had to leave Floppy that she ran away again. Violet’s mom told her to find Sweetie and worst case she’d be late for bedtime. So Violet went out and found that Sweetie had gone back to doggy daycare. Sweetie and Floppy were having the time of their lives ruining dog beds. Sweetie and Floppy were best friends. Then, Sweetie and Floppy mated.

Violet knew that in about four months, Sweetie and Floppy would have babies. She told the person in charge of doggy daycare that Sweetie and Floppy had mated. The person in charge wanted Violet to adopt Floppy. So Violet brought them both  home. 

Two weeks later, Violet brought Floppy and Sweetie to doggy daycare so that she could go on vacation with her parents. First, Violet and her parents went to the beach. Violet found an amazing, shiny, pink shell. Then Violet and her family went to a fancy hotel for two days. The fancy hotel was really fancy. 

Four months later, Sweetie and Floppy had two babies. Their names were Fluffy and Scruffy. Fluffy and Scruffy were adorable puppies. But soon Violet found out that people wanted to adopt Fluffy and Scruffy. Fluffy and Scruffy were adopted and Violet only had two dogs. 

Then, Violet discovered that her hair didn’t need to be shot up to space and combed with rockets. So Violet pulled her hair down from space and cut it short and used all of the hair to make an indestructible dog bed. 

Then Sweetie and Floppy were separated so they would not have more babies. Violet was sad that Sweetie and Floppy could not be together and she decided to give them away somehow. Then, some people came and those people wanted some grown dogs so that they could mate them and have puppies to sell in their pet store. 

The people took Sweetie and Floppy and left. Violet missed her pets and she went to the pet store that she had given Sweetie and Floppy to and bought a kitten. 

Violet named the kitten Baby. Baby grew up into a cat and Violet turned her indestructible dog bed into an indestructible cat bed. 

Then Violet and her parents planned another vacation. When it was time to go on vacation, Violet brought Baby to kitty daycare. Baby liked kitty daycare and Violet went on vacation knowing that Baby was not going to mate with another cat. 

Then Violet went on vacation and did what she had done on her first vacation. First she went to the beach for one day, then she went to a fancy hotel for two days, and then she went to an old mansion for four days. 

When Violet came back from vacation, she took Baby home and went to the store to buy ingredients for dinner, which was in about an hour. Violet found all the ingredients she needed for dinner and she went home and realized it was the day that her father was paid for his work. Violet’s father gave her a bag of popcorn and said that after dinner, they were going to the movies. 

Also, Violet’s father said that Baby could come to the movies, too, but Violet must share her popcorn with him. So Violet went to the movies and watched “Over the Moon.” She gave Baby the bag of popcorn to keep him entertained. She didn’t even want to eat the popcorn, she just wanted to watch the movie.

When the movie was over, Violet and her family went home. Violet tucked Baby into the indestructible cat bed she had made.

Chapter 2

When Violet woke up, she untucked Baby and went to comb her hair without rockets. Then Violet went to buy ingredients for breakfast and soon she had all the right ingredients. Then Violet made toast and went to wake up her mom and dad for breakfast. 

After Violet and her family ate breakfast, they went for a family walk. When they were on the walk, Baby started sniffing and turning around in circles. Violet’s mom said that maybe Baby was sick and Violet should take Baby to the vet. So Violet took Baby to the vet.

When Violet got to the vet’s office, she picked Baby up and brought him to the vet. After a checkup, the vet said that Baby needed a rabies shot and Violet should come back in two days and bring Baby there for his shot. 

Two days later, Violet brought Baby to the vet. But before the shot, she asked the vet why Baby needed the rabies shot. The vet said that Baby was coming down with rabies and the shot would make him well again. 

Violet was scared to look at the shot, especially Baby’s shot, so Violet gave the vet a bag of Baby’s cat food just to keep him entertained and left the vet’s office. The vet said to come back in two minutes and then wait for another fifteen minutes in case Baby got an allergic reaction. 

Two minutes passed, and Violet went back to the vet’s office. Baby was there and except for a small pink spot on his shoulder he was just like normal. Then the vet said that Violet should wait for fifteen minutes.

Fifteen minutes later, Violet called her mom and told her to come and pick her and Baby up. Then Violet went home with her mom and Baby and put Baby in bed for a nap because Baby was really worn out from that exciting day. Then Violet took a nap herself with Baby at her feet. Violet’s mom tucked her in carefully and went out to get ingredients for lunch. When Violet’s mom got home, she made lunch and woke Violet up to eat.

After lunch, Violet went to her mom and said that maybe it would be easier to have ingredients at home and not have to go out three times a day. Violet’s mom agreed but Violet must invent a way herself because Violet’s mom and dad were busy. So Violet went to the store and bought lots and lots of ingredients. But it was not as easy as it seemed, because Violet’s house did not have a refrigerator. So all the extra ingredients were rotten by the time Violet came to take them out of the cabinet for dinner.

So Violet threw out the trash, went to the store, bought ingredients for dinner, ate dinner, and went to sleep with Baby at her feet. 

The next morning, Violet had an idea. She would make a remote control robot that would collect the ingredients itself. But that idea was hard, because the only way that Violet could control the robot was to rein it to Baby like a little carriage and dump treat machines that gave a treat every hour all the way to the store. 

Then Violet put a radio on Baby’s back and made a recording on the radio of her asking for the ingredients for lunch, dinner, and breakfast. Then Violet put a tracking device on Baby so that she would be able to see if the plan was working.

In the morning, Violet sent Baby with the breakfast ingredients recording. Then Violet turned on the tracking device and hurled a cat treat all the way to the first treat machine. Baby followed the treats that were shot out by the treat machines and got all the way to the last treat machine. It had taken so long that there was already a giant pile of treats that had come out of the treat machine and it was empty except for one treat for the way home.

There was also another cat eating Baby’s treats straight out of the treat machine. Baby and the other cat got into a cat fight but Baby won. Then Baby followed the last few treats to the store. The recording did its thing and Baby got a bag of ingredients tied to him. Then Baby followed the last treat from the treat machine because it had just shot out, followed the other piles of treats from the other treat machines, and came back with a full belly and a scratch from the cat fight. That was what happened every single day. 

Violet, after seeing what had happened in the cat fight, decided to make Baby some armor. When Violet finished making Baby’s armor, she gave him a helmet and a feather for the top of the helmet just to look fancy. Baby was very proud of his armor and stalked around showing it to every cat in the neighborhood. Which is why it took so much longer to get the ingredients for the following meals. Fortunately, Baby never got scratched again. Violet decided to change Baby’s armor a little to be less fancy because it took him a whole day just to get ingredients for mealtimes.

Chapter 3

When Violet finished making Baby’s new armor, she sent him to the store to get ingredients for breakfast. Baby came back very soon with a bag of ingredients. After breakfast, Violet played with Baby till lunchtime, but after lunchtime something exciting happened. A package arrived!

In the package was a refrigerator! Violet’s mom told Violet that now that they had a refrigerator, they didn’t need Baby to go get ingredients because the ingredients wouldn’t rot in the refrigerator. 

After that, Baby didn’t need to get ingredients for meal times and Violet was a little bit bored of having a cat. So Violet decided to give Baby away.
