To Educators,
Our 2nd graders are unique and curious individuals who are very eager to learn. It is essential to provide them with the proper tools and knowledge in order to form predictions. This is crucial for impressionable learners to make educated guesses about both academics and real world events.
Learning Objectives
At the close of this lesson, students will be able to:
- Students will be able to follow along with the story read aloud by instructor, make predictions prior to reading, alter (during), and reevaluate predictions once the fictional text is finished being read.
- Students will be able to make predictions on the text based on their own personal experiences related to real world scenarios.
- Students will be able to accurately sequence events within the story from beginning, middle, and end, correctly identifying an event for each.
