Family Falling Apart

I always felt scared of that part where my dad would come home from work every day at 1:00 in the morning, I wanted to ask him why, but I felt it wasn’t my business. My mom died, dad says she got a serious illness, but I’ve never seen her in the hospital. I’m sad I didn’t really get to say goodbye to her before she died.

One day, my little sister Shira lost her necklace, she started messing up the whole house. Me and Lia, my other sister, panicked and we didn’t understand what she was doing. What do you think your’e doing!? Lia screaming. Shira told her that she was looking for her necklace that our mother gave her before she died. We all started searching the house, after a few moments, I found the necklace. Suddenly, I saw something written on the neckless, it said: “help me”. I tried for a few seconds to figure out what it meant, but I couldn’t. Shira and Lia noticed that I stopped looking. They saw that I was hiding something, they came to me and snatched the necklace from me. They were terrified of what it said, they thought mom was really in trouble, but I couldn’t believe it, I still thought she was dead.

Shira and Lia ran to the parents’ room. I ran after them so they wouldn’t do anything stupid. We went into the room, they started looking and figuring out what was in the room that could be related to what was in the necklace. They found a letter in Dad’s coat. The letter said: “girls, meet me in the Maldives.” We weren’t sure if dad wrote it or mom, we all had a feeling that dad was lying about mom. Without a second thought, we packed everything we could take and came to fly to the Maldives. But then, there was a knock on the door. It was quiet. I went to see who is this, it was dad. Shira wanted to open up to him, but I wouldn’t let her. I remembered he had keys. I told Shira and Lia to take everything they needed and we ran out the window quickly.

We got on the plane. We didn’t have a lot of money left. On the plane, Lia didn’t stop whining to her boyfriend, She wanted to tell him about what happened and why she flew, but I told her not to tell him, I preferred not to take risks. This whole thing could also be one big misunderstanding. We got off the plane and there were a lot of trees around. Turns out, someone was really waiting for us near the airport. It was Mom, Shira and Lia ran to hug her. They thought the threat was dad, and mom was going to help us. I had that feeling, too. But then before Shira and Leah could hug mom, mom took out her gun and just killed them. I was shocked, I saw a branch on the floor and without thinking much I just stuck it in her throat. Suddenly, I remembered that mom had such a beautiful butterfly tattoo on the back of my hand. I didn’t see him. And then, I realized, it was her twin sister.

She always hated us, especially my mother, she must have wanted revenge on her, and because she died, she planned to hurt us.

I cried a lot. My sisters were my best friends and losing them

was very hard. Suddenly, I saw my dad get out of the plane. Apparently, he saw the note mom’s twin sister wrote. He saw them all on the floor. He didn’t understand what was going on, I told him everything, He was devastated and so sad. We came home, and all we had left, was the two of us at home.
