Meriwether Lewis and William Clark with Sacagawea,

Thomas Jefferson sent Lewis and Clark to explore the new territory from the Lousiana Purchase. While on their expedition, they helped a friendly native named Sacagawea who traveled with them as an interpreter.

Ruby Bridges
