White Opals

Being one of the most ubiquitous variants of opal, it features a white background. Besides, it’s sub-transparent or may be translucent that displays opalescence. It is considered less valuable than the black opal. Nonetheless, fine white opal commands higher prices. The maximum white opals originate from the Australian regions other than White cliffs, Marla, Hungary, Canada, and Ethiopia.
