Mr. Know All

It was a packed morning on the port due to the opening of the sea ways after WW2 was over.

I was on my way To Kobe, Japan to do some business there and help a client examine some samples of a new type of imitation which is cheaper and said to be identical to the real deal after hearing that I had to jump in and see it myself.

I got on board and arrived at my cabin, the staff told me I had to share my room it with another guest, I was pretty exited to see what type of person he will be like I left my luggage in the room and left to explore what the ship offer.

As I arrive to the smoking area there he was Oliver Wilson

my roommate for this cruise, I approached him and introduced myself had some small talk with him to get to meet better because we will have to share a room so i better have some fun while I’m at it He wasn’t the most energetic guy also he was kind of a snob and doubted I was British at all but i still liked him.

As the days passed I got to meet all the passengers on board and I started to hold responsibility for the events around the place like the auctions and the golf matches along with the money bets on sports I had a lot of fun and also got a funny nick name “Mr. Know All” I like that name it fits me, everything was going well until I met him.

Mr. Ramsay and his wife Ms. Ramsay his wife was the best of the two she was very down to earth and was such a little pretty thing on the other hand there was her husband He argued about everything and doubted my knowledge and was always put a fight whether I was right or wrong.

One evening while having dinner the subject of pearls and they brought up the cultured pearls that I was on a trip to check out so I immediately rushed into the conversation and stated my knowledge on the subject, as expected Mr. Ramsay tried to go against me and said I knew nothing about pearls and went on a rant on how he was so sure I wouldn’t be able to recognize the difference between a fake and a real pearl so I made a bet for 100$, If i can tell him the price he could get for his wife’s neck less
