It all started two months ago and it was the most exciting month of my life.

I met a charming man at a bar.

Yes, I know what you are thinking but my husband is at Kobe and I feel lonely.

His name is Mr. Brown, he’s English.

He is about two meters, black straight hair, nice eyes that makes you fall in love. He is used to wearing a black suit.

He invited me to his place, and I couldn’t say NO.

And in the next two months, we learned about each other more. One day we went to the Fifth Avenue, he told me that he loved me for the first time and bought me a pearl necklace.

I was really sad to leave but I had to because Mr. Ramsay, my husband came from Kobe to pick me up…

After my husband and I got on board, we started to meet the passengers. But the passenger who caught our attention the most was a very friendly man with long black curly hair, fleshy hooked nose and he was dark skinned.

Later, we realized that we were sitting on the same table and we learned that the man we met when we got on the ship was Mr. Kelada.

An argument about pearls began and I started to get nervous.

I didn’t pay attention for a second and suddenly I heard that they were talking about my necklace.

I slipped the chain inside my dress but my stupid husband continued to talk about it.

In addition, he made a bet on a hundred dollars with Mr. Kelada. He was sure that my pearls were fake. When they asked me to take off the chain, I showed my husband that I was uncomfortable but he wasn’t interested and he took my chain off of me and handed it to Mr. Kelada.

After Mr. Kelada looked at the chain carefully, I looked at him with wide and terrified eyes. I felt that I was about to faint.

My husband didn’t see it but I was lucky enough that Mr. Kelada acted like a true gentleman and decided to lose the bet for me (although he was right).

The next morning, after Mr. Kelada saved my marriage and by the way, saved my life, I decided to give him back the money he lost on the bet. So I put an envelope with a hundred dollar bill with his name on it under his cabin’s door.

I was so relieved that my affair wasn’t revealed.

We chose the song “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga.

It reminds us the relationship between Mrs. Ramsay and her secret lover (in our story Mr. Brown).

Everything was going on behind Mr. Ramsay’s back because he left her alone in New York.

This story is a “bad romance”.
