Mrs. Ramsey stayed in New York while her husband was on a business trip for a year. while Mr. Ramsey was on the trip Mrs. Ramsey got a new pearls neckless, when Mr. Ramsey came back from the trip he was surprised by the new neckless, Mrs. Ramsey told Mr. Ramsey that it was a fake pearls and she bought it in 18 dollars when actually it was real pearls. Mrs. Ramsey wasn’t rich so we can assume that while her husband was in the trip she had a lover and he bought it to her. when Mr. Ramsey came back from the trip he took a ship with his wife to Japan, on the trip they met some people and on the ship there was most of the pilot.
