Greece

My trip to Greece was special because i made new friends and i became a better to somebody and worse friend to somebody.

The first day started when we arrived to the aparment. It was eleven o’clock and we were tired, but greks and my friendly host kid Thanos took us to eat pitas and overall the first day was good and after when we whent to the apartment, it was beutiful and comfortable. And the fisrt day i don’t remember much so just some random memories. We went to the Town Hall and there they talked about drones and electric cars and cars that drive themselves, after that we went to The sports museum and we went to The old prison and that prison had only one cell.

A guide took us around Trikala. We went to many famuos places in Trikala but i can’t remember them. We went to the recycling factory were they show us how recycling works in Greece. And after that we went to thr place were they showed how dirty and not clean water they turned in to clear and drinkable water, it was insane. I remember how we fought with italians over seats but it was not violent but more who will first get back to the bus. We were at the forest were they talked about environment and about how special is the forest. We went to a small cabin were they talked how to make essential oils and it was a interesting. We also went to a special lake but the rain was to strong and fun story the bus hit the wall or the mountain. Overall a trip to Trikala was special and and Grecce is very beutiful country and people there is very kind and freandly.

I would have never imagined being able to bring home such a full cultural and moral baggage from a school trip.  My host family has been very helpful and welcoming since the first day of my arrival.

I visited Trikala and its wonders and  I found them really charming and full of culture.

 I had breakfast at the hote and I had lunch and dinner at  Marilia’s house.

On the first day, at lunch I had potatoes with chicken, a dish that I found very good being half Albanian.  I discovered that Marilia, my host friend,and me shared many things, such as our passion for reading  and studying

On the following days in addition to meat and potatoes I had Gyros  which would be like kebab here in Italy except that instead of the usual meat there is chicken.

The experience that I liked the most was the visit to Meteora, a wonderful and truly fascinating place.

 The most important things that I will carry in my heart are:  friendship and good  relationships. I am proud of having been able to build good relationships with other young people from different cultures and languages, which is not easy for me because I’m shy … but in this experience I let myself go!  I will carry it in my heart forever as well as the very funny trips by minibus.

the funniest moment was the farwell party, where we sang, ate, danced and cried since that was the last night I would have spent with Marilia. 

When she took me back to the hotel I was destroyed .. I kept crying but then thinking back to her words of comfort I cheered myself up.  I thought there was nothing to cry for  because I knew that this  beautiful experience was over but a new friendship was born and I’ll keep it for ever. Finally,  I want to thank the Lemona family who welcomed me with all the affection and availability of the world. Thanks for all the laughs, the chats and the beautiful moments spent together, I will never forget you. 💓💓💓
