The story of Shvuot

Once there was an Israeli family who moved to a distant land called Moab – the father, Elimelech, the mother, Naomi and their two sons, Mahlon and Killion.

The sons married Moab girls, Orpah and Ruth. A few years later Elimelech and his two sons died.

Neomy was very sad so she deside to go back to israel, her homeland.

Her two daughters-in-law wanted to come with her but Naomi asked them to return home, Ruth insisted on staying with her while Orpah returned home.

Neomy tried to convince Rut to go back, and Rut said “where you go, i go!”

They arrived to israel and started settle down.

Naomi told Ruth to go to boaz’s field because he’s her relative.

Rut listen to Neomy and went to boa’z field.

Boaz helped Rut, and they got to know each other ,when they finally fall in love.

Ruth and Boaz decided to marry each other, and they had a very happy wedding!!

they lived happily ever after, had kids and grandchildren.

for us, accepting the Torah is accepting a way of life that we need and should live by. for us accepting the Torah is accepting a book full with advice and laws of how to becom a better person. for us accepting the Torah is getting a better wey to conect with god and with our self.

we choose to write about Ruth because we think she is an amazing person with a special personality, that gave up her life to her mother-in-law without thinking twice.
