IMPRESSION AFTER THE MEETING IN GREECE 

Hi everyone! My name’s Marco and I’m an Italian student.

For the first time in my life I’ve travelled by plane. It was a fantastic experience.

The journey was tiring because we had to take a bus from Athens to Trikala (our destination) but we were very excited although we slept a few hours.

We received a wonderful welcome and I was lucky because my host friend was very nice. When we didn’t have school activities we went out with his friends and other Italian students. 

I tried different food, for example the gyros that I didn’t know. It was very good. 

I realized that  Greek people eat a lot of meat. 

This was my first meal with my Greek family. 

I also enjoyed seeing people dancing the typical sirtaki dance.

But definitely, my favourite experience was the visit to Mateore. I was amazed. I had never seen anything like that and I will always remember it. 

It was a great opportunity and I am grateful to be a part of this project and to meet new cultures and people. I’m sad because Alex, my host friend, won’t come to Italy because I would like to return that kindness.

Finally I want to say that I enjoyed the visit to the sports museum because sport is very important for me, especially tennis.
